He's my crazy guy who's afraid of nothing (except E.T.) He's a man's man and loves to things his dad does. That's why today when the audio doc said that his hearing is getting worse and there can be no more shooting of any gun, I saw his face turn and I cried and cried. The doctor really didn't know what to do with me, she doesn't understand how much a part of life that is for these guys. I asked C if he was more sad about his hearing or about the guns. He said the guns...and if his hearing goes he can always learn sign language-in fact he has said this since we first found out about his ears. This isn't some kind of boo-boo that I can put a bandaid on or kiss better. It has really taken the wind out of his sails...and mine too...

SO sorry to hear (ok that doesn't sound right) the news. I truly makes my heart hurt : (

Hang in there Little C. At least you won't have to hear your mom's toots!!!
We can all learn from his attitude...it won't be the end of the world. We'll just learn sign language too (except Aunt Julie...her fingers are too crooked, and we won't be able to understand her accent!)
